KosiEducationTimes (kosieducationtimes.com) is operated by Zera Technologies ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

Mock tests and progress tracking

Taking a mock test is optional and requires no account. When you finish one, your device generates a short sync code such as KET-7F3K-92QX. We store your score, the date, and which topics you got right or wrong against that code — nothing else. The code is random and is not derived from your name, phone number, email address, or IP address. Anyone who knows your code can see those scores, so treat it as private; that is the trade for a system with no password to forget.

The same record is also kept in your browser's local storage so the page works offline. Clearing your browser data removes the local copy but not the copy stored against your code.

Signing in with Google

You may optionally sign in with Google instead of writing down a sync code. If you do:

• Google sends us your account's opaque identifier, your name, your profile picture, and your email address, and we verify that with Google.
• We store only the opaque identifier, paired with your sync code, so that signing in on another phone brings up the same progress. Your email address and name are never written to our records; your name and picture are shown to you in your browser and are not saved on our side.
• Your scores are stored against the sync code exactly as they are for everyone else. Knowing someone's Gmail address gives no way to look up their marks.
• We request only basic sign-in information. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service, and we could not read them if we tried.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer this information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

You can disconnect the site at any time from your Google account permissions page. To have your stored scores deleted, email us your sync code and we will remove those rows; there is no other way for us to find your data, because we hold nothing else that identifies you.

Records are kept only as long as the mock test section runs. If it is discontinued we delete the stored attempts rather than retaining them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Cookies

This site may use cookies for analytics and, if applicable, advertising (including Google AdSense). You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense or similar networks. These networks may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
